Growing a living Christmas tree is said to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly than manufacturing an artificial one. This is substantiated by arguments referring to the prolonged decomposition of plastics and higher carbon dioxide or greenhouse gas emissions during production. Such figures are mainly based on the output data of gigantic manufacturers of artificial Christmas trees in China.
However…, manufacturing an ADAL artificial Christmas tree costs the atmosphere much less toxic substances, and already after three years of using such a Christmas tree the consumer, unlike those who buy a newly grown Christmas tree every year, starts contributing to the positive inversion of the environmental footprint of the artificial Christmas tree.
It is so because the average emission of gases and carbon dioxide during the manufacture of an artificial Christmas tree is two to three times higher than during the growing of a living Christmas tree, i.e. the artificial Christmas tree wins the eco-race against the living one already after three years of usage. What is more, our artificial Christmas trees are manufactured from environmentally friendly polyethylene and will serve for long years, without differing much in their appearance and feel from their living counterparts.
